There is an old Nursery located at the left wing of Gate#4, a midst the Administration Block. This nursery has precious plants, trees and a lake in center with fountain, which was non-functional while plants, trees and flower pots were placed in a very haphazard manner. I have, thus, taken up the task to revamp the fountain and lake, which now functional and good looking after maintenance and painting. Likewise, plants and flower pots have been properly arranged in a systematic manner. It is now giving enthralling beauty. The Overseer/Head Mali/Gardener have been asked to sow the seeds of various plants indoor, outdoor and flowers.

Lawn Gate 1
There is a Lawn nearby Gate#1 of Karachi Zoo, named after the late T.L.F. Beaumont Esq, President Karachi Municipality and Chairman Garden Committee (November, 1905- March, 1910)-a historical place and, of course, a heritage. With the passage of time, this historical lawn turned in to a deplorable state. Bushes and shrubs grown up every where giving an ugly look. The lawn badly required patch work and repairing of wall, which was in dilapidated condition. Therefore, immediate action taken to cure the damages, patch work carried out where necessary while extensive trimming/cutting of bushes got carried out. The lawn is now turned into a beautiful point for families/visitors.

Sewerage
ØThe Sewerage line passing infront of the Shair Line (Big Cats) was badly chocked. The dead Sewerage Water was over flowing causing bad and foul smell all around the Zoo. Complaints from the visitors were continuously pouring in about this unpleasant condition. Consequently rapid action was taken and broken sewerage line replaced one new lines, which is now functioning well.
